Facilities Director

Advantage xPO is hiring an experienced Facilities Director in Phoenix, AZ, for a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure. Our client serves a wide range of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and education. If you have at least three years of experience as a Facilities Director in a medical treatment facility and have MEP expertise, we'd love to hear from you!

Pay: $130,000

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (overtime as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and repairs for an 80,000 sq. ft. outpatient orthopedic facility.
• Manage mechanical systems, including boilers, chillers, air handlers, generators, and medical gas equipment.
• Lead a team of technicians, environmental services, security, and subcontractors to perform maintenance.
• Coordinate facility construction activities and subcontractor support.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring seamless patient care and operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including TJC, EPA, NFPA, and ASHRAE.
• Respond to emergency calls and resolve operational issues.
• Lead staff training, safety briefings, and inspections to maintain facility standards.
• Manage vendor performance and ensure continuity of operations during weather-related disruptions.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in leading a Medical Treatment Facility and MEP operations.
• Proficient with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, EPA, TJC, and OSHA standards.
• Preferred certifications: HVAC operations, CHFM, OSHA 30.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
