Job Description: Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced VDC Learning & Development Program Manager to join our National Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team in Minnesota. This critical role will be responsible for partnering with the VDC management team to design, develop, and implement a structured learning program aimed at continually improving employee performance. This role will position you to make a large impact on this growing team through partnering with subject matter experts to document and train on key processes, tools, best practices, and expectations. You will influence performance through development and deployment of training, quality reviews, and performance reporting. - Partner with the VDC management team to develop and implement a learning strategy that improves operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Deliver impactful training that drives consistent performance and implement quality review measures to ensure alignment.
- Travel extensively to regional offices and active job sites to deliver training and measure impact.
- Strategize: Collaborate with VDC managers to define the learning strategy, prioritization, roll out, and evaluation of learning across all construction competencies. This includes the maintenance of knowledge management tools and learning curriculums. A successful strategy will incorporate knowledge and learning in technical, process, system, and professional skills.
- Content Creation: Lead VDC-specific content creation efforts through developing a diverse group of subject matter experts to define process, best practice, and evaluation opportunities. Effective content is content that improves operational efficiency as demonstrated through measurable results.
- Facilitate: Facilitate live and virtual in-person courses across a wide range of VDC/construction topics. Effective facilitation includes the utilization of adult learning principles, strong presentation skills and the ability to create meaningful engagement with learners.
- Quality Assurance and Impact Measurement: Help define and implement feedback mechanisms that ensure the policies, best practices and guidance in the curriculum are being implemented on projects. Partner with the business to develop systems and perform quality checks as part of achieving measurable results.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, VDC, or related field. OR 6 years working directly in a BIM/VDC-related position.
- 6+ years of experience in BIM/VDC including design coordination, construction coordination and on-site communication.
- Knowledge of BIM technology solutions including Autodesk BIM360, Construction Cloud, Design Collaboration, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, Bluebeam, and Laser scanning process.
- Ability to quickly learn additional BIM technology applications including Rhino, Lumion 3D, Procore, Synchro 4D and Sketchup.
- Knowledge or ability to quickly learn Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Ability to apply BIM technologies to overall VDC processes and application in the AEC industry.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including public speaking skills and the ability to present ideas concisely, clearly, and effectively.
- Ability to partner with subject matter experts, interpret customer needs, and translate them into learning deliverables.
- Possess a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize workload accordingly.
- Ability to read and understand plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Basic understanding of construction scheduling and estimating techniques.
- Basic understanding of the complete cycle of a construction project (pursuit, contractual, design-management, preconstruction, procurement, construction, quality, closeout, turnover)
- Proven experience designing, developing, and facilitating training in a business setting.
- Ability to travel to all national locations as needed, including overnight stays.

Eligibility: Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. Compensation: The salary range is $120,000 - $140,000. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
