Data Engineer (With Java Engineering Experience)

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Perform CRUD operations and ensure data integrity and quality.
• Work with various databases and data warehouses, including Oracle, Postgres (via RDS Aurora), and Snowflake.
• Analyze and process large data sets using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions that meet business needs.
• Modify and optimize Jenkins pipelines using Groovy scripting.
• Utilize AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and AWS Glue for data processing and storage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data engineering and backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Experience with databases and data warehouses such as Oracle, Postgres, and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in ETL processes, with experience in Informatica and AWS Glue.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 and Lambda.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
