Job Summary

The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide leadership in reporting and analysis for National Accounts and will support the Director of Financial Reporting on ad-hoc profitability analysis. In this role, you will work collaboratively with Canteen One team members to analyze and drive profitability, and create budgets and forecasts for clients, and analyze variances from plan or prior year. Additionally, run business searches and create both Existing As-Is and Proposed Proforma models for re-bids.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong problem solving skills, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced deadline driven environment, and be able to work in partnership with managers/department head across multiple disciplines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clients: prepare commission checks, financial and account data, reports and profitability analysis
  • Coordinate and reconcile inter-company commission transactions
  • Prepare accurate and timely Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
  • Develop and implement pricing packages
  • Manage effective communication with National Account Managers, branch management and client contacts
  • Create accurate and timely ad-hoc report requests from clients
  • Analyze and understand business to drive national account profitability
  • Support annual budget process and quarterly forecast preparation for assigned clients
  • Analyze and explain any actual to budget or forecast variances
  • Ensure the setup of assigned clients is correct to reduce and/or eliminate order adjustments and inaccurate client reporting
  • Ensure Account P&L info from SAP downloads ties to COPA profitability data

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting is required; CPA or MBA preferred
  • Five years progressively responsible experience in finance, accounting and/or financial analysis is required
  • Demonstrated success in streamlining/defining process improvements
  • Strong relational database and/or enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) skills required
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Previous managerial/supervision experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Office Coffee, Pantry, and/or vending operations and franchise operations is beneficial
  • SAP and/or J.D Edwards or equivalent software preferred
  • Knowledge of Business Objects or similar report writer program is preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Access databases preferred
