Description

    Establishing, maintaining, and assisting personnel in troubleshooting and repair of serial and IP-based communications systems and networks
  • Assisting government personnel in maintaining strict configuration control of current architectures
  • Participating in assigned Computer and Communications Systems Engineering Reviews and providing technical representation at meetings as required
  • Testing, maintaining, and monitoring computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems
  • Assessing the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment
  • Coordinating and linking the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared
  • Developing, documenting, and revising system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
  • Providing network and system administration of the assigned Computer and Communications Systems
  • Providing software technical support for common software applications across multiple platforms within the DCGS-M Family of Systems

Requirements

  • Active duty military member
  • Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance
  • Ten (10) years of experience with DCGS-MC, Cisco routers and switches, server operating systems management, Cyber security configuration compliance management/auditing, Windows Server 2012 or later, Windows 10 or later, Linux Systems Administration, Microsoft O365, SharePoint and/or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • High school diploma/GED, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate
  • Must be Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certified for Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT-II). This requires one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, CND or SSCP. Must have one of these certifications at time of hire and it must remain active

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
