Human Resources Coordinator (Hybrid)

Main Function

Coordinates various HR administrative functions including data and analytics, recruitment and selection (placing advertising, processing background checks), onboarding, employee benefit and leave counseling, and benefit enrollment.

Outline of Responsibilities

* Serves as initial contact and on-going resource for applicants and staff requiring HR assistance (employment, benefits, etc.).

* Assists with employee relations matters, while delegating complex situations to HR Manager.

* Maintains data integrity of ADP, retirement plans, benefit plans, Wex COBRA system, and performance management system.

* Processes change reports in congruence with organizational policy.

* Creates and generates reports, including VETS 4212, EEO-1, Affirmative Action, ACA, workers' comp and disability claims, OSHA, ad hoc.

* Assists in recruitment and selection process including creating and placing advertisements, applicant management, processing background checks, and ensuring

complete recruitment file.

* Coordinates all components of talent onboarding for new hires, temporary staff, and independent contractors.

* Conducts talent onboarding for new hires, temporary staff, and independent contractors.

* Assists with compensation offers including completion of the Pay Evaluation Sheet and Pay Rationale Sheet.

* Coordinates status/employment transition process and counsels employees on the process.

* Conducts benefit consultations for staff transitions and exiting staff.

* Notifies benefit carriers, monitors carrier connection file feeds, and enters data for new enrollments, changes and terminated coverage.

* Assists with benefit open enrollment and annual benefit plan audits.

* Coordinates the MCHC grandfathered Retiree Medicare Supplement Benefit payments

* Conducts leave of absence counseling, including preparation of FMLA and short term disability paperwork and maintenance of a leave of absence tracking log.

* Coordinates performance appraisal/annual compensation increase process and annual incentive/bonus programs.

* Initiates and processes requests for congratulatory, sympathy and get well gifts, such as flowers, donations, baby blankets and gift cards.

* Reconciles and processes invoices.

* Coordinates annual Service Awards.

* Maintains and distributes HR Dashboard to HR and payroll team.

* Manages Energage employee survey and follow-up initiatives.

* Ensures up-to-date HR materials including benefit brochures, forms, Summary Plan Descriptions, etc. are available on intranet for easy access for employees, as

appropriate.

* Maintains electronic database for position descriptions and ensures org chart is current.

* Maintains personnel files including I-9, terminated, and medical files.

* Maintains electronic files including FMLA, accommodations, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, invoices, flexible work arrangements, new hires, etc.

* Performs general administration support for the HR department (filing/data management, creating and updating Word, Excel, PowerPoint documents, etc.).

* Maintains data integrity of the Human Resource section of the intranet.

* Maintains Professional Development Portfolio and conducts leader and staff counseling, as needed.

* Assists HR team with special projects, as needed, such as items listed on the HR workplan and HR calendar.

* Provides the above HR services for HealthCare Associates Credit Union staff.

* Other duties as defined.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources. Four years' experience in human resources with a fast-paced, complex organization may be considered in lieu of education. Excellent people skills, champion of technology, ability to handle sensitive information, maintain confidentiality, multi-task, resourceful, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office required

Pay Range: $32.27 to $48.41 per hour, actual compensation is dependent on job-related factors such as experience, education, skills and qualifications for the role.
