What is the opportunity? Are you interested in working as a Provisioning Analyst co-op on the Telecommunications and Network Service Delivery Team in Technology & Operations at the Royal Bank of Canada? RBC`s Service Delivery within the Telecommunications and Network Services team provides the technical delivery, supply chain management, client engagement and project governance as it relates to Telecommunications and Network Services projects, business requests and operational activities. The Service Provisioning Analyst provides support to the network teams by ordering and managing the delivery of carrier telecom circuits and Network Hardware and coordinating the install and turnup of those services. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time. What will you do?
Manage the implementation of initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner. Including projects within our Branch, Campus, and Extranet environments. Fulfillment of procurement requests relative to Implementation/Project, MAC (move, add and change) activity for all Data Facilities across the RBC enterprise. Work with Network teams on the creation of a hardware bill of materials and submit requests for the purchase of that hardware. Coordinate with network engineering resources to Develop and execute on end to end change management plans and plan and execute all communication related to these. Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes. Verify and record all circuit detail in Telecom Expense Management tool to maintain accurate circuit inventory. Managing the relationship with Telecom Service Providers as it pertains to day-to-day operations in support of the Telecom Data Infrastructure across the RBC Enterprise.

Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written) Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment Strong MS Office skills - Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new Telecoms related applications Basic knowledge of wireless systems, routers, switches, WAN, LAN, PRI and ARDs.
Nice-to-have
University or College Degree in Computer Science or a related field Knowledge of telecommunications providers (Carriers, Colocation Providers, and Managed-Service Providers) and their internal processes. Industry knowledge of networking technologies and vendor products such as Cisco, Arista, Aruba and/or CheckPoint, and an understanding as to how they are implemented within the financial services industry Technical Certification in an IT area

The expected salary range for this particular position is $65,000-$115,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs. You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
