About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Compensation will be responsible for establishing and leading the Compensation function within our organization, partnering closely with the head of Total Rewards, HR Technology & Operations, as well as other key stakeholders to develop a competitive compensation program and an equitable pay structure that attracts, retains, and motivates top talent. This individual will be a strategic partner to the HR organization and business leaders across NETSCOUTS global organization, providing expert guidance on all aspects of compensation.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead comprehensive global benchmarking efforts, leveraging market data to develop global salary structures and compensation practices that are competitive in our local markets.
  • Lead the operations of the annual compensation review process globally, including merit, bonus, & stock programs. This includes systems configuration, training, performance management integration, and partnering closely with the HR Business Partners and business leaders.
  • Lead efforts to advance pay transparency, including monitoring and interpreting evolving regulations and compliance requirements related to pay equity and transparency (e.g., state/federal laws, EU pay transparency directive).
  • Lead initiatives to assess and address pay equity within the organization, ensuring fair and equitable compensation practices.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to develop equitable and transparent offer guidelines, ensuring alignment with internal pay structures
  • Lead compensation-related communications and training initiatives to educate HR, and managers on compensation philosophy and decision-making processes.
  • Partner closely with finance, legal, and other key stakeholders in managing the company's equity compensation programs, including restricted stock units (RSUs), and the employee stock purchase plan (ESPP).
  • Utilize data analytics to generate reports and/or dashboards that provide insights into compensation trends, costs, and effectiveness. Present data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Responsible for survey participation; monitoring and evaluating benchmark data, trends and projections and recommending changes to maintain a competitive market position and internal equity.


Basic Qualifications/Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, finance, or related field required, with a preference towards candidates with a master's degree and/or certification such as the PHR, SHRM-CP, or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation, including design and implementation of compensation strategies
  • Advanced excel skills and strong proficiency in working with HRIS systems.
  • Experience and strong understanding in designing and implementing job architectures, job evaluation methodologies, and salary structures
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation laws, regulations, and best practices.
