Are you ready to sprinkle some fun into your day?
Acme Meijer is hiring doughnut makers who loves to work independently with little or no supervising.

You'll learn all about how our doughnuts are made and how to operate the equipment. You will make sure our doughnuts meet all quality and food safety standards before packing them up gently or adding to the case. You'll also add filling, icing and other toppings like sprinkles to make them look and taste delicious. You'll help clean and maintain the work area, so it stays safe and sanitary and check labeling on packages.

ALL EXPERIENCES WELCOME TRAINING PROVIDED

Shift time is 10pm-6:30am
Starting wage is $15.40 +$1 shift premium
Must be able to lift 25lbs on consistent basis.

* Prepares work area and equipment for donut finishing
* Removes donuts and rolls from freezer and prepares for finishing
* Place Danish, cinnamon rolls and other items in proof box
* Heats donuts and rolls in oven prior to glazing or icing
* Ice and garnish rolls
* Review special orders and prepare as needed
* Cleans work area
* Prepares icings and glazing area for the next day
* Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines

What will you be doing?

  • You will stock food shelves with a variety of products.
  • Pull back stock and trash to the back room to the correct areas.
  • Work with management to ensure correct areas are stocked in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor with customers.
  • Work night shifts.

What skills will you use?

  • You have adequate knowledge of computer systems and is comfortable using them.
  • You are process driven and has ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
  • Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
  • You have the ability to lift up to 50lb boxes.
  • The ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of the operation of a fork lift and pallet jack is a plus.
