Exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and innovative team as a Program Administration Manager II within the Rosamund Stone Zander Translational Neuroscience Center (RSZ TNC). The RSZ TNC strives to improve the lives of all children with neurodevelopmental disorders by fostering timely and efficient translational research.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the planning and implementation of program goals and objectives. Work in conjunction with Sr. Management to establish goals and objectives.
  • Assists and/or oversees key operations of clinical trial network including research visit scheduling/tracking, marketing of services, securing supplies and other related duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for budget proposals and recommendations and establishes budget control system for controlling expenditures; controls expenditures in accordance with budget allocations; recommends equipment and resources for program.
  • Responsible for business change management, including business process redesign, training, SOPs
  • Manage project scope and timeline through formal change management processes
  • Manages project issues and risks through standard issue/risk process
  • Manages, selects, trains, evaluates and manages unit or department staff for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Performs need assessments, evaluates and analyzes individual program and overall unit or department effectiveness; implements appropriate procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy to fulfill the unit or department and campus mission; collects, compiles and analyzes information from diverse sources; creates charts, graphs and spreadsheets for reporting purposes.
  • Develops and manages the development of internal systems and materials for delivery of programs and services.
  • Provides technical advice, policy interpretation, and guidance for application of appropriate procedures to staff, students and administrators.
  • Develops and facilitates or oversees the development and facilitation of workshops, seminars and orientations. Reserves meeting locations, plans setup, orders supplies and equipment and prepares meeting agendas, minutes and other materials.
  • Oversees development of information flyers, internal forms and various materials to facilitate unit or department programs and services. Prepares correspondence, forms, reports, manuscripts and other materials involving scientific, technical and/or specialized terminology.
  • Interacts and maintains liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 6 years of relevant experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
  • Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
