What You Will Do
Forescout has an excellent opportunity for a strategic and business-focused Sr. SaaS Contract Negotiator to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled contract negotiator with extensive experience supporting a global sales team in the negotiation of commercial contracts, including both on premise software and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) contracts. This role requires a strategic thinker who enjoys working collaboratively with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate outbound commercial agreements (both on premise software and SaaS) and other documents related to the sales process, including NDAs, DPAs and SOWs.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, legal, finance, and product teams, to gather requirements and align contract terms with business objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to facilitate smooth contract execution and ongoing management.
What you bring to Forescout

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in contract negotiation in a software company or high growth technology company; cybersecurity industry experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, pricing structures, and licensing terms, as well as global data privacy laws and regulations, with considerable experience negotiating data usage terms with customers.
  • Experience successfully supporting the needs of a global sales team to efficiently negotiate contracts and drive deals to closure.
  • Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Adaptable and resilient in the face of changing priorities and demands
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
