Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Scientist with 12 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure SQL Azure Open AI Service Azure AI Document Intelligence RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Knowledge Graph Azure Databricks Azure Conversational Language Azure Functions Azure AI Azure Machine Learning and Python. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure cloud solutions using Azure SQL Azure Open AI Service and Azure AI Document Intelligence.
• Oversee the development and deployment of conversational AI solutions utilizing Azure Conversational Language and Azure Functions.
• Provide technical expertise in Azure AI and Azure Machine Learning to drive innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI and machine learning models.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and automation tasks.
• Ensure the architecture aligns with industry best practices and company standards.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor junior developers and guide them in their professional growth.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure technologies and AI services.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
• Document technical designs processes and procedures for future reference.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in Azure SQL Azure Open AI Service and Azure AI Document Intelligence.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Azure Conversational Language and Azure Functions.
• Have extensive experience with Azure AI and Azure Machine Learning.
• Show advanced skills in Python programming for data processing and automation.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills.

Certifications Required

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 03/28/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $130000 - $170000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
