What Will You Do:
Support the Projects Operations Management (POM) Quality Department. Be part of the Enbridge Complex Quality team(12 people). Work directly with the US based Quality group, comprised of 1 Quality Coordinator and 2 Quality Specialists, working on US Gas Transmission Facilities and Pipeline Projects. Provide Quality Assurance from early Engineering and Design through Construction and Commissioning. Ensure early identification of risks that may negatively impact Projects. Participate in Contract development and review. Training and engagement with Contractors and Construction teams. Perform on site assessments of Construction activities. Support Enbridge Operational Compliance requirements through project auditing and assistance with regulatory inspections. LeadIncident Investigations performed by the Quality Team. Manage the internal management of Change Process (MOC) of the team. Coordinate training sessions delivered by the Quality Team. Continually develop management, operational, and technical skill sets to take on more responsibilities across the Enbridge enterprise. Role includes the quality assurance of construction activities, project records, contractors and code compliance. Quality Senior Advisor to support investigations and the continued improvement of Quality on projects.
Who You Are:
University degree or a technical diploma from a recognized technical institute. Note: an equivalent combination of education, industry related certifications (ASET, API, CWB), ASQ certification and work related experience will be considered. 7 years of related experience in Quality Management and/or Construction Management is preferred. Strong analytical, data management skills. High level of customer service and relationship building capabilities Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively get along with personal at all levels of the organization. Working knowledge of US governing codes encouraged. Job requires strong communication skills and ability to simultaneously manage Quality across multiple projects.
Working Conditions:
- Office based role.
10% of travel to other Enbridge office and field locations in the USA. (Travel to CAN is an option, but not a requirement at this time.) Must report to ENB regional office in either Middletown, PA or Knoxville, TN. Option for remote work two days a week. Position requires extensive knowledge of both Pipeline and Facility construction. Must be able to travel to active project sites 1-3 times a month. AMPP/NACE/CWI/API certifications strongly recommended. Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
