What you'll do:

Woodland Hills Vision Care Optometry is seeking a dynamic Optometrist who is empathetic, respectful, and passionate about providing personalized eye care solutions to ensure optimal eye health for every patient. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive vision care to a diverse range of patients, ensuring that each individual receives exceptional service. You can expect to treat 22 patients, with 16 of those patients being dedicated to exams and the remainder dedicated to follow-ups. You will have access to advanced technology, including the OCT, Optos, and topography, which will enable you to accurately diagnose and treat a wide range of eye diseases. The position is initially full-time, offering between four to five days per week, including one Saturday a month.

The practice is looking for a self-motivated team player with skills that allow them to work in a fast-paced, high-demand practice with contact lens experience. Excellent patient communication skills are essential as they contribute substantially to a patient's quality of care. You're eager to continuously develop your skills and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations to help patients achieve the best vision possible. This position is open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
