Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role

Planning
  • Work with project teams to evaluate the impact Bill of Material changes will have on current and future contracts.
  • Work with manufacturing engineering to effectively implement vehicle changes without disrupting the supply chain.
  • Work with procurement teams to ensure all part numbers are correctly configured in MRP allowing for timely purchasing and delivery of material.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in scheduling, critical path analysis, and program coordination representing supply chain while reviewing change packages.
  • Execute risk surveillance and drive corrective actions.
  • Notify Management of potential schedule problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.


Executing
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring products through their complete item and BOM lifecycles.
  • Efficiently implement Manufacturing Bill of Material changes into MRP
  • Monitor material LT's and communicate risk to program
  • Analyze Make Vs Buy Product decisions and communicate financial impact to the various programs
  • Monitor schedule deviations, schedule constraints, demand movements, and demand variances. Facilitate development of root causing issues and driving corrective action.


Qualifications Sought
  • Bachelor's degree5+ years of Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing Operations experience
  • Compliance to DoD Certified Business Systems
  • Strong understanding of ERP/MRP planning required
  • Strong understanding of Bills of Material and planning required
  • Strong data and reporting skills and the ability to present information to drive action
  • Previous Supply and Demand or Sales and Operations planning experience a plus
  • Teamcenter experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a passion for continuous improvement
