What You Will Do:

The Director of Enrollment for the Accelerate U Programs at National Louis University plays a critical leadership role in driving the enrollment strategy and engaging with prospective students to guide them through the entire enrollment process, from inquiry to registration. This individual will be responsible for directly enrolling students, managing a team of enrollment specialists, building and maintaining employer partnerships, and enhancing processes to optimize student engagement and success. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results-driven leader with a passion for higher education, student-centered services, and innovation.

What's so special about our Accelerate U program?

Glad you asked! Our first-of-its-kind program offers learners a rapid pathway to a full-time job. We partner with innovative local employers to build affordable academic and training pathways that lead to an industry-recognized credential in four to eight months; focus on both technical and professional ("durable") skill development; include coaching, wraparound supports, and career counseling; and allow participants to earn up to 30 college credits that can build to a bachelor's degree. Currently. we offer students the opportunity to get certificates as a Medical Assistant, a Registered Behavior Technician, a Cisco Certified Network Associate, or an IT Support Specialist, but we're adding new programs all the time!



Essential Responsibilities

    Supervise approximately 4-5 enrollment team members, managing all aspects of performance through data and observations of student interactions to ensure success in the achievement of enrollment objectives.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with employers to create pipelines for student enrollment. Collaborate with corporate partners to develop customized education pathways that meet workforce needs.
  • Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding enrollment objectives both as an individual and as an enrollment team using a variety of enrollment activities such as phone contact, personal interviews, and following up with students to help them navigate the enrollment process for the institution.
  • Work closely with other departments such as marketing, business development, and the freshmen enrollment team to ensure a seamless and supportive student experience. Collaborate with key management of Accelerate U to professionally represent the enrollment team, attend open houses and high school events, and ensure a seamless and efficient enrollment process. Collaborate with the marketing department to provide insight into marketing strategies and to ensure the team has access to appropriate collateral materials for student recruitment purposes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, strongly preferred, but those with significant experience including managing and developing an enrollment/admissions team in Higher Education, will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in enrollment management, admissions or related roles with a proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding enrollment objectives.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience building partnerships with employers or community organizations.
  • Background and proficiency with navigating a CRM system (i.e. Salesforce, Power BI, etc.) including the ability to analyze data to identify areas for improvement and manage team performance.
  • Experience effectively motivating team members to achieve objectives while creating an uplifting and positive culture within the department. Ensures the department is positive and collaborative with all departments within the college and that the lines of communication are open and clear. Creates a team environment that understands accountability of the job and nurtures a high level of professionalism among all team members.
  • Proven track record of training and developing teams to maximize their ability to achieve success. Ability to help each team member to understand selling concepts as well as how to effectively utilize technology to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to take a proactive approach to anticipating, solving and preventing problems.

The salary range of the grade for this position is $70,086 to $105,129 annually. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Offers are based on multiple factors permitted by law, including but not limited to: budgetary considerations, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, market considerations, tenure and standing with the university (applicable to current employees), and internal equity.
