This paid apprenticeship is all about hands-on training, real-world experience, and learning from the best. You'll be assigned to either Water & Sewer and Streets & Drainage, gaining valuable skills while helping to keep Allen a safe and beautiful place to live.

Essential Functions

What You'll Do

  • Assist with maintenance tasks like fixing water lines, repairing streets, and cleaning drainage systems.
  • Learn to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Follow safety procedures to protect yourself and others.
  • Participate in training sessions and earn certifications.
  • Work schedule: 4-day 10-hour work week, either Mon-Thur or Tue-Fri

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Texas driver's license.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
