Role Overview: As a Pick Pack - Picker, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and processing various items, including speed picks, single item orders, and ready-ship items. You will also load outbound trailers, stock inbound merchandise, and cross-train with the Receiving department. Key Areas of Responsibility: * Efficiently pick and process items using a hanging QC station or portable RF scanner. * Maintain smooth conveyor flow and ensure sensors are clear. * Securely pack boxes using appropriate packing materials. * Inspect boxes and products for damage before shipment. * Manually load trailers and verify shipping labels. * Communicate any issues to management for swift resolution. * Maintain area supplies and ensure proper utilization of transport totes. * Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot lanes. * Keep the work area clean and organized. * Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 40 lbs. frequently. * Stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry products for 8 or more hours. * Operate a forklift for 6 or more hours if required. * Stock inbound merchandise and replenish bin locations. * Research stock areas and identify product locations using AS400 and RF gun. Responsibilities: * Utilize a pallet-jack to move products or skids. * Rotate throughout the Shipping Department and other warehouse functions. * Perform various shipping functions and cross-department training. * Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Qualifications: * 6 months - 1 year of warehouse experience * Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry products for 8 or more hours. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Accurate counting ability. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. * Solid verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage changing warehouse temperatures and high noise levels. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
