Supply Chain Coordinator - Distribution

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager or Supervisor, the staff member executes and administers software supported supply logistics that operates efficiently and meets the needs of the clinical areas within OSUWMC. Stocks and manages supply inventory levels of disposable and re-useable product as well as some portable equipment in Distribution and Storage areas. Serves as the liaison between the Distribution and Logistics Team and all clinical departments with a focus on customer service and problem solving. Maintains records and logs, such as special requests, delivery verification, back-orders, and ensures accurate tracking of supply data such as back orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers. Ensures the implementation and maintenance of the two bin Kanban system including picking, order processing and stock put away. Maintains all required documents (electronically and otherwise) for accurate order confirmation, item maintenance and data tracking. Demonstrates an effective combination of analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills as well as other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma and 1 year of inventory control experience preferably in a hospital setting.
