EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGER: OVERVIEW: The Employee Relations Manager will serve as a leader within the Employee Relations Center of Excellence team, primarily leading the team of ER Leads based at World Headquarters. In this position, they will oversee their team's delivery of the Employee Relations Purpose of resolving employee concerns, growing trust, supporting managers of people, mitigating risk, and restoring performance. They will do this through the ER strategy of growing a centralized team of ER experts who are entrusted to resolve difficult issues, manage risk, coach managers, and deliver solutions and actionable insights. In addition to leading their team, the Manager will support the Sr ER Manager to advance key COE priorities and enterprise projects. The manager will also handle escalated/complex ER cases and lead other initiatives within the larger ER COE as necessary. The role requires consulting, influencing, and coaching skills that will be used with leaders and employees at all levels, especially in service of the development of their direct reports. The Manager will influence high quality decisions in support of company culture, policies, and regulatory compliance. The role will identify and understand external ER trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement for ER accountabilities. This is a World Headquarters based role. Relocation support will be offered. See Additional Considerations section for more details. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee their team's delivery of the Employee Relations Purpose of resolving employee concerns, growing trust, building leaders, and restoring performance.
- Lead their team's effective and consistent delivery of performance management, and handling misconduct, accommodation issues, separations, and other sensitive issues.
- Ensure ER service delivery is aligned with company culture, corporate policies, and the law in close partnership with the Employment Law team.
- Partner closely with the Sr ER Manager in support of enterprise-level projects and COE-level priorities.
- Effectively coach managers on, and practice and promote Engaging Leader principles and capabilities.
- Serve as lead consultant / investigator for complex or escalated workforce issues including harassment, discrimination, and misconduct.
- Identify and deploy ER related training opportunities working closely with internal training partners.
- Oversee team's performance, development, and strategic priorities.
- Lead team culture building.
- Oversee and plan the hiring and onboarding of team members as needed. Mentor and develop your team, as well as the other members of the team in close partnership with ER COE leadership.
- Develop and deliver data driven trends, learnings, and actionable insights to HRBPs and senior HR leaders using ER case learnings and data within the HR Acuity and Tableau platforms.
- Develop strong partnership with other HR COEs to advance shared priorities.
- Identify, develop and maintain key internal relationships, including with other ER members, HR Business Partners, Employment Law, Talent Acquisition, the Global Talent Organization, the WIN team, Ethics & Compliance, Global Security, and others.
- Develop and leverage processes and tools to support delivery of services, and identify, create or recommend policy and process improvements.
- Identify and understand external trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement for ER accountabilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of HR experience, advising on ER issues
- Strong drive for practical results
- Subject matter expertise in performance management and performance management lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of employment related regulations (e.g. disability, discrimination and leave laws)
- Consultative, coaching, and action planning skills
- Experience investigating and addressing misconduct issues
- Ability to anticipate issues, problem solve and implement solutions, including referring critical issues to the appropriate resource
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - main point messaging)
- Ability to quickly and productively network and establish effective working relationships
- Strong computer background with skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs; ability to gather, record, and analyze data and information and interpret reports and graphs
- Experience leading change initiatives and process improvements a plus

The salary range for this position is $106800.00 - $160300.00 / Annually.
