The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. The Department of Pediatrics - Division of Genetics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the Pediatric Genetics multidisciplinary team in blended setting by providing professional health care to patients and their families by assisting in the diagnostic and therapeutic management of a variety of patient groups within the Genetics clinic practice located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Medical College of Wisconsin is an academic partner Children's Wisconsin, the region's only independent healthcare system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children. This free-standing 306-bed children's hospital ranks as one of the top children's hospitals in the United States. The Pediatric Genetics section is committed to providing compassionate clinical care of the highest quality to our patients and to improve the health of the communities we serve. The section is focused on new therapies for genetic disorders, bringing cutting-edge diagnostics in genomic medicine and interdisciplinary care for patients in Wisconsin and through our academic activities to patients nationally.
