Duties, Responsibilities & Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As a Design Technician 5 your primary responsibilities include designing and drafting construction drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software. You will work closely with a team under the supervision of a project manager to ensure that all designs meet the approval standards of federal, state, and local agencies. Your role involves reviewing and interpreting technical documents, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will be expected to demonstrate attention to detail, collaborate effectively with team members, and interface with clients and other professionals to meet project requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Design and draft construction drawings using AutoCAD (or other required software), ensuring they meet the required standards for approval by federal, state, and local agencies.
