*Description*
Manager really likes to see someone with a call center background who has experience with being on the phone and transferring calls and supporting people over the phone. Degree + home lab experience/internship OR ~1 year of professional experience will work. This candidate will work 12pm-9pm EST when they have completed the 2-3-week training period as they are supporting end users in Orange Co, California. This team runs 411 for the County of Orange, and they run all the IT calls for the County of Orange. They need to be able to help someone troubleshoot Windows basics, gain access to accounts, etc. and then disperse the calls based on agency. Conversion salary is around 35k. Looking to pay 16-18/hour on contract so there isn't a big discrepancy when they convert. Manager prefers someone with SOME hands-on experience, even if it's in a home lab + schooling. Team size: 8 "Hybrid" schedule: the first 2-3 weeks will be onsite training, but after that most people work remotely. There will be times they have to come onsite for meetings, etc. but not often. Must have skills: Good communication skills Great customer service Prefers someone not DIRECTLY out-of-school.
