*Description*
Our client is a family owned enterprise level retail company that was started in Bradenton, Florida over 100 years ago. It currently has 650 locations throughout the southeast, and are looking to grow up to 400 new stores over the next few years. The end user services team is focusing on getting more modern within their technologies and need two PC Tech's to help support roll out of new pin pads. Our client needs to replace outdated pin pad hardware at their retail locations, which will involve a hardware migration process over several nights. The work will involve technicians remotely supporting the migration, testing the new hardware, and communicating with store managers. The technicians will be going to the store remotely and will be working to start migrating devices on registers that have been closed. And basically, they're baby sitting the bridge to make sure the process goes through, keeping in touch with the stores to make sure that they're not falling behind. At the end of the hardware Migration, we go through a series of tests with the manager at each location on each piece of point, each point of sale to make sure that the pin pads are working as expected. The hardware they are placing most of it's gonna be physical work out in the field. And there's gonna be very little deep technical stuff to do if there is that's generally going to be handled by the lead on the project. There will be remote control tools to use that show how to log in, authenticate and take over a machine, but they need to have somebody who recognizes windows enough to be able to operate independently within it to perform documented tasks.
