JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The FacilitiesApplications teamis seeking an Enterprise Asset ManagementFacilities Systems Analyst- Advanced Professional to support the Enterprise Asset Management system and related systems in a functional support and administrative capacity. These systems include the Office of Physical Plant EAM system (Maximo), Scheduling Software (Akwire/Prometheus), and mobile software (EZMaxMobile).

The analyst will:

  • Ensure the system is stable and functional for the user community

  • Work closely with internal and external customers and business partners to provide guidance and recommend solutions that will enable the organization to achieve its goals while ensuring the integrity of the applications and data processes per industry best practices

  • Provide application support and act as a key team member for the Enterprise Asset Management system and supporting systems for functional users to ensure the integrity of the application and data

  • Interpret business issues or needs and recommend solutions along with best practices that leverage application functionality to meet business needs

  • Manage tier 2 support of incoming support requests

  • Track tasks and project initiatives including development, training, testing, and go-live activities

  • Partner with UP and Commonwealth campus facilities personnel, and the use of our applications

The successful candidate will report to the Facilities Applications Manager. The Applications and Facilities Management Office is supportive of flexible work arrangements when aligned with the ability to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position. Questions related to flexible work hours should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

Education and experience:

  • Minimally requires a bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with EAM (Maximo) management software is preferred.

Competencies critical to success include understanding the use and need for Maximo, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written). A solid background in Enterprise Asset Management and practices is essential, supported by demonstrable skills of leadership, judgment, and communication. The FSA must have a strong customer service orientation and an understanding of Penn State culture and constituent needs.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$61,800.00 - $89,600.00
