Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Market Exploration: Identifying and researching potential clients within our ICP - Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Lead Qualification: Assessing leads to ensure they are a good fit for our suite of products and services.
  • Value Proposition: Understanding customer needs and pain points to effectively communicate the value of our solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Working closely with our sales team to transition qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
  • CRM Management: Maintaining accurate records of all interactions and lead progress.
  • Reporting: Providing timely updates to management on lead generation activities and progress against targets.
  • Market Insight: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to identify new business opportunities.
  • Networking: Attending industry events and networking functions to represent EQ - Private Company Solutions (PCS) -Astrella and cultivate relationships with potential clients.

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Leader.
  • Prior experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM tool is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging prospects and building rapport.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends and product developments.
  • A self-motivated attitude with a passion for driving business growth.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally at a B2B fintech startup or transfer agent
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to dynamic targets.
  • Understanding of the BDR/Sales process.
  • Consistent, methodical, and organized in your approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
