Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has a distinguished history of serving the community since its founding in 1890. Surgical Technologist III

FT- 40 Hours

Days- No Call or Weekends

Sign On Bonus- $10,000

The Surgical Technologist III possesses advanced knowledge of aseptic/surgical technique and is able to anticipate the required instrumentation for each step of a surgical procedure. The Technologist III serves as a resource person for specialty cases and demonstrates working knowledge of specialty equipment/instrumentation. Serves as a primary preceptor for inexperience Surgical Technologists and acts as a resource for other staff orienting to the scrub role in the operating room.

Minimum Education and Experience:

1. High school graduate or GED equivalent.
2. Associate degree in Allied Health or equivalent combination of education and clinical experience preferred.
3. Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
4. Certification in specialty as Surgical Technologist required.
5. Must have, as a Surgical Technologist, a minimum of Three years (3) clinical practice

including One Year (1) of working at least 20 hours per week or 0.5 FTE.

1. Must demonstrate proficiency in at least two different service lines, one of which must be Neuro, Ortho or Robotics.

Salary Range: Minimum 34.48 per hour - Maximum 56.86 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
