Wage: $79,500 - $90,100 salary per year, depending on experience

Bonus: $4,000 (paid in 2 installments) - $8,000 (paid in 3 installments)


Relocation: up to $5000

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm, or 10am-7pm

Position Summary:

This position will have responsibility for providing Clinical Mental Health Services to children, families, and adults in an outpatient community mental health clinic. Responsibilities will include intakes, diagnosis, case management, and mental health treatment services to identified children, families, and adults. This role also includes supervision of counseling or social work students and interns.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Practice



  • Provide intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing culturally sensitive treatment using Evidenced Based Practices to children, families, and adults
  • Complete required documentation within the identified timeframes
  • Develop clinical treatment plans which focus on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement.
  • Maintain encounters/productivity of at least 30% of reportable/billable services
  • Participate in ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement to assure the services provided demonstrate best practice standards and meet all contractual requirements
  • Actively participate in individual and group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and other multi-disciplinary meetings
  • Staff cases which require specialist consultations and psychiatric consultation as required
  • Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and referrals to community services whenever necessary
  • Observe confidentiality in all related program functions with staff and clients
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with other community mental health providers, primary care, and other referral sources


Intern Supervision



  • Provides clinical supervision, coaching, case record review, and session debrief to assigned intern students in the areas of direct service, documentation, clinical and professional growth, and accountability
  • Provides on the job training and facilitate other internship development opportunities
  • Provides interns with opportunities to shadow sessions and co-facilitate sessions
  • Attends meetings in relationship to service delivery as needed with appropriate staff within the student's master's program


Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Job Requirements: The following requirements are those that are normally required for performance of this position. Physical Requirements: This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision.

Non-Physical Requirements:

Education



  • Master's degree in social work preferred or master's degree in other behavioral science required


Experience



  • Two years of experience working with children, families adults in a professional outpatient setting
  • Mental Health Professional (MHP) designation or eligible


Licensure, Registration, Certification



  • LMHCA, LICSWA, LMHC, LICSW, or Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor
  • Valid Washington Driver's License and minimum required liability insurance for WA State
  • Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities liability insurance provider

  • Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills and excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to provide service in a culturally sensitive manner
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner with referral sources
  • Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner within the community
  • Bilingual Preferred, but not required

The agency does require that that the employee's activity and conduct away from the job must not compete, conflict with, or compromise its interests or adversely affect job performance or the employee's ability to fulfill all job responsibilities, including reasonable scheduling requirements. To assure that any outside employment or business does not create a conflict of interest, compromise the interest of Catholic Charities, or otherwise adversely affect job performance, the Child & Family Therapist must disclose any outside employment or businesses to Human Resources. Outside employment includes, but is not limited to, any private practice or any therapy related services, regardless of whether the employee receives any benefit from such activities.

Human Resources will evaluate and discuss the situation with the employee, and determine whether any particular measures may be available to avoid any potential conflicts of interest.
