DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Outreach and Education Analyst supports the implementation of Pennie's outreach and education strategy, helping to increase awareness of Pennie and connect Pennsylvanians to health coverage. This professional will engage with consumers and stakeholders to provide education surrounding the importance of health coverage, highlight available resources, and facilitate informed consumer decision-making. This position also affords the opportunity to represent Pennie across the Commonwealth at public-facing outreach and education activities including community events, meetings, trainings, and conferences. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Periodic travel in-state and out-of-state may be required.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of professional experience in community engagement, outreach, education, and/or marketing; AND
- A bachelor's degree in liberal arts, public health, public administration, communications, public relations, marketing or equivalent education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience with Affordable Care Act (ACA) state-based exchanges and/or Medicaid programs.
- Fluency in Spanish
