(Onsite - Baltimore, Maryland) We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Negative News Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the analysis and resolution of negative news alerts and ensuring compliance with our firm's policies. *Position Overview:* The Negative News Analyst will focus on supporting negative news alerts (adverse media) and will be responsible for conducting thorough analysis and due diligence. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and a relevant degree. The successful candidate should have a experience in Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. *Key Responsibilities:* * Support and analyze negative news alerts (adverse media). * Conduct thorough investigations and due diligence related to negative news alerts. * Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of alerts. * Utilize EDD/KYC to assess and mitigate potential risks. * Document findings and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. * Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address potential risks and concerns. * Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment. *Qualifications:* * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. * Experience with adverse media analysis and negative news alerts. * Familiarity with compliance and risk management tools and software. * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Experience with Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work onsite in Baltimore, MD, for 5 days a week. *Benefits:* * Opportunity for permanent hire after the temporary period * Competitive compensation package * Collaborative and inclusive work environment * Exposure to engaging projects * Opportunities to connect with professionals across various departments and levels within the organization *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
