Accountant Join Our Team as an Accountant! Are you a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional looking for a dynamic role in a financial institution? We're seeking an Accountant to join our team and play a key role in our daily financial operations, general ledger management, and regulatory reporting. If you have a strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance, along with a passion for accuracy and efficiency, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do: Process daily financial transactions and ensure accurate general ledger postings. Reconcile accounts, including ATM cash, clearing accounts, ACH transactions, and loans. Assist with month-end closing procedures, accruals, and financial reporting. Prepare and file regulatory and tax reports, including NCUA Call Reports and 1099 filings. Support internal teams by researching discrepancies and resolving inquiries. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency. What We're Looking For: Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a financial institution. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred. Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and accounting software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
