Title: Instructional Specialist,Teacher Education and Childcare (TEACH) Institute Department: TEACH Institute Campus Location: Arnold/Main Campus Salary Range: $64,832-$81,040 Work Mode: This position requires a full-time in-person presence on campus or at alternative locations. Hours Per Week:40 Work Schedule: Position Type:Full-Time Staff, Exempt Position Summary The Instructional Specialist supports the Teacher Education and Childcare (TEACH) Institute with the development and support of credit and non-credit programs. Responsibilities include academic advising, delivering high-quality instruction, recruitment and retention efforts, curriculum development, community outreach, and other duties as assigned. Pay dates occur on the 7th and 22nd of each month. If those dates fall on a weekend, the pay date occurs on the Friday prior to the 7th and 22nd. Job Duties and Responsibilities Advising Plans, develops, and reviews non-credit curriculum and instructional materials. Manages the Challenge Exam processes, working with students who apply for and take the exam. Community involvement for non-credit programming Required Qualifications: Master's degree or higher Preferred Qualifications: Higher education teaching experience or adult training experience Experience in reading and literacy instruction |
