We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Quality Engineer I to join our Global Clearing team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL - Hybrid. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Work with members of the automated testing team to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, scripts, and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Develop and execute performance tests to ensure applications can handle expected load and stress.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in automated testing and quality assurance.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in automated testing.
- Participate in the development of testing strategies, processes, and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team and contribute to the development of technical solutions.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial.
- 4-8 years of experience in automated testing and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as IntelliJ
- Experience with Java and Selenium programming languages
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong technical and communication skills required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge and experience in financial services or fintech is preferred
