Acting as the owner and primary representative for an independent Mobile Device Management environment servicing third party Indirect Agent mobile devices (35K+) used to sell Verizon goods and services. Be the "face" of the Mobility Team to both the Business and to outside stakeholders such as Indirect Agents and Vendors. The person in this role must be comfortable working in a customer service environment, as well regularly communicating and presenting to the Business. Work closely with the Verizon Consumer Retail Group, Indirect Agents, and internal Mobility team to provide managed services delivery for mobile devices and other Retail related sales technology. Ensure all business use cases meet or exceed business requirements while remaining within the established boundaries of IT Security, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and other relevant stakeholders. Manage a small group of contractors dedicated to providing Tier 3 level support for Indirect Agents. This is a highly visible role which requires someone with confidence, the ability to move quickly and decisively, and the ability to unify stakeholders to achieve business objectives quickly and efficiently. What we're looking for The role requires a mastery of understanding Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platforms and their capabilities and limitations to effectively manage mobile device operating systems. It also requires a high level of understanding regarding Active Directory & LDAP, certificate based authentication systems and services, VPN integration, PKI, collaboration tool system management, and other vendor related third party tools such as Apple Business Manager and Samsung KNOX.
