JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Ecosystem Science and Management seeks a Proposal and Award Generalist to perform duties that span the full life-cycle of sponsored programs from pre-award responsibilities such as identification of funding sources and assistance with proposal preparation and submission, to post-award administration of gifts, grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts from external/internal funding sources like federal agencies, state agencies, private companies, and foundations. The Proposal Awards Generalist will need to learn how to use multiple internal and external electronic research administration systems to assist faculty in grant preparation as well as provide reports and gather information for the department.
