*Description* - Conduct thorough investigations. - Analyze evidence: Review documents, witness statements, medical records, and other relevant information to assess the veracity of claims. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. - Document findings. - Develop and assist with training of claims and other personnel. - Efficiently handle a selection of field and desk investigations within Special Investigators Authority, prioritize activities, allocate resources. - Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices: *Skills* investigation and analysis, insurance, Fraud, Analysis, law enforcement, duck creek, property & casualty, life insurance *Additional Skills & Qualifications* College degree or 8 years prior experience in insurance investigations, law enforcement (investigations), or related field. A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record required. Frequent travel required with overnight stays possible. Must be able to work under varying weather conditions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Maintain strict confidentiality. Proficiency in conducting interviews and gathering evidence. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to insurance fraud investigation. Certification in fraud examination (e.g., Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator) is a plus or must be obtained after hiring *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
