Assistant Program Manager - Digital Literacy

General Summary of Position:

The Assistant Program Manager will support the effective implementation and operations of digital literacy training services, IT support, and general operations for Public Space Modernization sites. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can manage tasks across multiple areas, and respond to problems in real time.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination, IT support, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of digital literacy concepts and the ability to teach and support learners in a variety of settings
  • Proven experience in providing basic technical support for computers, software, and basic network systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of modern office software tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, Google Workspace)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to independently travel to a broad range of sites in Massachusetts to support digital literacy training and IT services.

This is a Grants & Contracts (MTA/GRACE) Union position, Grade P15.

This position is contingent upon funding and is a 15 month full-time benefited grant funded position.
