General Summary of Position: As a Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in Textile Chemistry, Textile Technology & Materials Science, you will be responsible for researching new chemistries and robust surface functionalization processes to impart unique combination of properties such as omniphobicity, fire retardancy, antimicrobial characteristics and insect repellency etc. You will be responsible for patenting invention, submitting manuscripts for publication in high impact peer reviewed journals, writing proposals for obtaining additional grant funding and interacting closely with scientists and engineers in these funding agencies. In a very dynamic and collaborative environment, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, oversee various teams, and mentor team members including undergraduate and graduate students, ensuring the successful completion of your own projects while supporting others in the program.
