Junior Landscape Designer

We are seeking a Landscape Designer with 1-3 years of experience to support the Landscape Architecture Team through all phases of design, from concept design to onsite construction administration.

The position will focus mainly on the design of public spaces, including parks, playgrounds, streetscapes, and green stormwater infrastructure.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Develop and coordinate all facets of project design from conceptual design (sketches, illustrative graphics, 3D-Models, renderings) through construction documentation (details, plans, document production).
• Perform production functions: sketching, drafting, documentation, and model creation.
• Perform production Prepare design presentation packages.

• A Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
• 1-3+ years of experience preferred
• Experience in construction documentation strongly encouraged
• Strong interest in multi-disciplined public space design

High level of proficiency in:

• Communication and Presentation: Adobe and Microsoft suites, and rendering
• Documentation: Revit and AutoCAD
• Design: Rhino, SketchUp, Grasshopper, etc. space design
• Written and verbal communication abilities

The pay range for this New York position is $32.69 to $37.50 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
