Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Apache SME for multiple Attack Helicopter projects, supporting the Attack/Reconnaisance Division.

LOCATION: Huntsville, Alabama

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• MS in Aviation Systems or applicable technical specialty in related discipline from an ABET school.
• United States Naval Test Pilot School Graduate (USNTPS) graduate with twenty years of aviation related testing experience on AH-64D/E aircraft systems.
• Must have a minimum of 5000 hours of flight time in the AH-64 Apache.
• Must be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Apache Aircraft Performance and Flying Qualities, Apache Software and Sensor systems.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Basic competency with MS Office products and technical writing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Incumbents will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) at the Aviation Flight test Directoratef, US Army Redstone Test Center responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, real-time and reporting for developmental and/or operational tests of system integrations on the AH-64E helicopter.
• Incumbents will be focused on and be an SME in aircraft airborne networking and the Manned Unmanned Teaming system as integrated into the AH-64E aircraft.
