Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Jersey City, NJ:

As a Senior Quality assurance Engineer, own and lead the quality assurance activities, including, test strategy definition, test planning and carrying out quality assurance practices for one or more Scrum teams. Analyze project requirements by working closely with Business Analyst, Development Team, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and QA Automation Architect resources to identify and prioritize automation opportunities. Conduct testing activities for the system built for the business of Corporate Cash management and virtual account management projects. Work collaboratively with cross-functional QA teams, QA delivery leads, and show work progress reports per Sprint. Responsible to develop and implement new automation frameworks using Rest Assured for REST APIs and Selenium web driver with Java frontend UI. Develop and automate test cases for Payment systems and core banking systems including, Finacle Core Banking, Finacle EOD-BOD framework, Finacle API hub, Finacle FEEM services. Ensure automated Smoke and Regression suites run as part of the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins on various test environments. Automate test cases for Apache Kafka messaging system both as a producer and consumer. Execute Sanity, Regression, Integration, E2E, Data Migration, and Data Validation automation testing at scheduled times on various test environments. Develop SQL queries and PL/SQL blocks as required for data analysis and reports testing. Deliver test automation solutions that fit within Agile/Scrum software development methodologies. Conduct non-functional testing for the applications (HTTP/HTTPS and TCP/IP protocols) including, High availability testing, Disaster Recovery testing, Failover and Fallback testing, Load testing, Spike testing, Endurance Testing and Bandwidth simulation testing. Conduct region failover and AZ failover testing in the cloud implementation projects. Conduct volume testing for optimizing batch job performances by developing custom testing tools and monitoring tools using Unix shell scripts.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $150,280.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.

Must have 8 years of experience in all of the following:

• SQL (Oracle);
• Finacle Core Banking;
• Finacle EOD-BOD framework;
• Java;
• Load Testing tool - Load Runner;
• Selenium Web driver; and
• Unix Shell Scripting.

Must have 7 years of experience in:

• Load Testing Tool - Jmeter;
• Cucumber BDD Framework and Rest Assured;
• Finacle API hub, and Finacle FEEM services; and
• PL/SQL (Oracle).

Must have 6 years of experience in:

• Jenkins, Github, and SVN; and
• SQL and PL/SQL (PostgreSQL).

Must have 4 years of experience in:

• Cloud services;
• AWS services: EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate Azure services: Azure Kubernetes service, and Blob storage;
• Apache Kafka;
• PagerDuty, Splunk, Datadog, and Dynatrace;
• Spring boot, Data JPA, Spring security, and Webclient.

Must have certification on cloud services provided by Azure, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

The base salary for this job is $150,280.00 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
