*Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant* Job Description As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will perform a variety of administrative and transcription services. Your primary responsibilities include verifying appointments, processing and distributing reports, completing demographic information on regulatory forms, requesting medical records, and managing fax materials. You will also be responsible for making reminder phone calls to consumers for medical appointments, entering referrals in ALARISWARE, and managing Release of Information forms as directed by individual case managers. Additional tasks may be assigned by your supervisor. Adherence to IT security requirements and policies is essential, including safeguarding IT passwords and notifying of any IT security incidents.
Responsibilities * Perform transcription services. * Verify appointments and process reports. * Complete demographic information on regulatory forms. * Request medical records and manage fax materials. * Make reminder phone calls to consumers for medical appointments. * Enter referrals in ALARISWARE. * Manage Release of Information forms as directed by case managers. * Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor. * Comply with IT security requirements and policies. * Safeguard IT passwords and notify of any IT security incidents. Essential Skills * Customer service oriented * Clerical skills * Support skills * Healthcare experience Additional Skills & Qualifications * 2 years experience in administrative/office support role * 1 year experience in healthcare/transcription Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
