OPSEC Security Administrator
Aberdeen Proving Ground MD Pay From: $60 hr. MUST: OPSEC Security Administrator Active Secret Required 10+ years of experience in U.S. Government security fields, such as physical security, information security, personnel security, counterintelligence, infrastructure protection, information operations, or industrial security programs. 3 years minimum of subject matter expertise in operational security, security classification, and security policy. Comprehensive knowledge of applicable security policy manuals and Intelligence Community Directives, along with experience in establishing and implementing government security programs and policies. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DOE), or other industrial security programs, as well as in-depth knowledge of relevant government security regulatory manuals. BS degree highly preferred DUTIES: Develop OPSEC (Operational Security) countermeasures in collaboration with customers, supporting the Intelligence Community and Counterintelligence organizations. Coordinate with customer OPSEC managers. Maintain and update the current OPSEC training program. Develop and participate in OPSEC assessments and surveys. Provide subject matter expertise on the interpretation of security classification guides, as well as classification and declassification decisions. Develop, analyze, and implement security policies for Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs, ensuring compliance with Executive Orders, directives from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the Department of Defense (DoD). Create, maintain, and update security policies, training materials, and standard operating procedures to safeguard classified and sensitive information. Assist in the development, maintenance, and updating of program protection plans and policies. Perform other security-related duties as required. Develop written and oral briefings and attend meetings as necessary. Conduct monthly new employee orientations to inform new staff about the various security requirements at USAMRICD. Assist with conducting monthly office safety inspections and report violations to the S2 Chief. Brief government employees and contractors on security requirements related to personnel access, clearance levels, access control systems, surveys, inspections, and facility security standards in relation to their work. Assist with OPSEC reviews of documents, photos, etc., and coordinate with USAMRICD personnel to modify these materials prior to public release.
