Plumbing Detailing General Foreman: This is where you come in. We're seeking a Plumbing Detailing General Foreman who is passionate about detailing, coordination, and team development. You bring hands-on leadership, strategic planning, and cross-team collaboration skills to the table. In this role, you will lead and oversee plumbing detailing teams, managing both self-performed projects and external detailing resources. You'll play a key role in building and mentoring a skilled team of Detailers, collaborating with trade superintendents, and ensuring seamless project execution from design to installation. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and an in-depth understanding of Plumbing Detailing and Modeling. - Lead Plumbing Detailing Operations - Serve as the primary point of contact for Plumbing Detailing, coordinating with Pre-Con, Engineering, Sales, Field Superintendents, and Shop teams to establish and uphold high-quality detailing workflows and standards.
- Develop and Implement Detailing Workflows - Establish efficient detailing processes in collaboration with field teams, shop personnel, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Build and Develop a High-Performing Team - Recruit, mentor, and provide ongoing training for a team of Detailers, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and production excellence.
- Ensure Technical and Budgetary Compliance - Oversee labor requirements, manage trade-specific operating procedures, and align detailing efforts with project budgets, labor allocations, and quality expectations.
- Maintain Expertise in Plumbing System Installation - Stay up to date on system installation requirements, validate labor needs, and ensure adherence to best practices in Plumbing Detailing and Modeling.
The Plumbing Detailing General Foreman reports to Henry Lewellen, Detailing Manager, and plays a key role in a collaborative team supporting a variety of projects and initiatives that drive business growth. Compensation:
- Non-Union: $150,000 - $175,000 annually
- Union: Compensation is based on the union scale, with benefits managed by the applicable union trust administrators.
