SUMMARY

The Grant Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of grant-funded projects. This role ensures that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with funder requirements. The Grant Project Manager will work closely with the Senior Grants and Development Manager to ensure alignment with organizational goals, and they will support the successful implementation of grant initiatives. This position involves cross-departmental collaboration, oversight of project budgets, compliance management, and detailed reporting.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Grant Application & Reporting:
o Assist in identifying funding opportunities and collaborate with the Senior Grants and Development Manager to prioritize grant applications.
o Draft and compile grant proposals, ensuring all required documentation is included and deadlines are met.
o Work with internal departments to collect data and prepare regular progress reports for funders, maintaining full compliance with reporting timelines and requirements.
o Coordinate the submission of final project reports, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
* Project Coordination & Implementation:
o Collaborate with the Senior Grants and Development Manager to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
o Ensure smooth implementation of grant-funded projects by managing project activities, timelines, and tasks.
o Organize and lead regular project meetings with stakeholders to assess progress, resolve issues, and ensure milestones are met.
o Provide ongoing project updates to the Senior Grants and Development Manager and other relevant team members.
* Reporting:
o Providing oversight and ensuring reporting to cognizant agency is completed in a timely manner.
* Compliance Management:
o Ensure all grant projects comply with legal and funder-specific requirements, including regulations, reporting standards, and funding conditions.
o Maintain accurate and organized records for audit purposes, ensuring that all required documents are accessible and up-to-date.
o Assist in preparing for external audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
* Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:
o Build and maintain relationships with funders, ensuring clear communication and reporting on project progress and outcomes.
o Coordinate efforts across departments (e.g., finance, program management, and operations) to ensure smooth project execution.
o Communicate project needs and updates to the Senior Grants and Development Manager for strategic guidance and decision-making.
* Evaluation & Reporting:
o Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring alignment with grant objectives and deliverables.
o Assist the Senior Grants and Development Manager with the preparation and submission of outcome assessments and final evaluations to funders.
o Collect and analyze project data to ensure that the projects achieve their intended outcomes, providing recommendations for future projects.
* Training & Development:
o Provide support and guidance to staff and team members on grant management processes and compliance.
o Share best practices in project management and help develop internal capacity for successful grant implementation.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

* Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master's preferred). Project Management Certification (PMP Preferred).
* Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant management, project management, or nonprofit administration.
*Skills:
o Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and grant management software.
o Ability to interpret and adhere to complex funding requirements and regulations.
o Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
o Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative mindset for successful grant implementation.
