CSI Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, NYSE traded company is seeking an experienced Production Manager. The Production Manager's duties include daily operations of the Production Department including overseeing planning, scheduling and quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:



  • Management of direct reports that include production supervisors and production Team Members.
  • Manage workload and production capacity to ensure that production schedules are consistent with meeting customer contract delivery dates.
  • Taking a proactive and positive role in working with Sales to ensure that customer expectations are well understood and in coordination with Engineering to ensure that the design documentation required to build to contract requirements is complete and properly prioritized.
  • Develop strategic vision and implementation of plan to provide a path for growth as it relates to
  • Ensure that adequate resources (people, equipment and facilities) are available to handle both the current and future workload.
  • Maximize efficiency of systems to ensure optimum throughput of all functions within production, including the implementation of new systems and elimination of outdated processes as necessary to achieve strategic goals.
  • Responsibility for planning capital assets and budget expenses in support of annual business requirements.
  • Achieve operating performance targets and improvements including cost reductions, reduced cycle times, and reduced lead times.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating executive management, needs, concerns and solutions for production issues.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all aspects of the business including Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Accounting and Human Resources.
  • Responsible for enforcing company policies of conduct and safety.
  • Responsible for the overall talent management of the production department including interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering preferred. Minimum of 5 years in a production management role.

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities:



  • Knowledge of raw materials, production equipment and processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective procurement and production of product.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, reducing costs and eliminating waste.
  • Language: Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to explain ideas to all levels of experience.
  • Computer Skills: MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Strong Excel Skills preferred.
  • Reasoning Abilities: Ability to analyze and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize; flexibility in handling multiple tasks, strict attention to detail; ability to set clear goals, manage issues, and escalate when necessary to achieve results, under tight deadlines.
  • Customer Service: Highly responsive, attentive to detail, and comfortable in a "hands-on" environment. Ability and experience interacting at all levels of the organization and functions.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The associate may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
