Information specific to this position: We are seeking a seasoned recruiter to cover a temporary leave of absence. This role is crucial for driving our talent acquisition initiatives, with a specific focus on sourcing, screening, and managing job advertisements to fill positions.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Sourcing & Screening: Proactively identify and engage top talent, ensuring that candidates meet the specific requirements for our roles.
  • Job Advertisements: Craft and manage compelling job advertisements that effectively attract quality candidates for positions.
  • Event Support: Assist in planning and executing recruitment events that bolster our talent pipeline and enhance candidate engagement.
  • Targeted Recruitment: Focus primarily on filling classified (non-licensed) positions, contributing directly to our goal of securing high-caliber talent for these essential roles.


If you are an experienced recruiting professional with a proven track record in talent acquisition and a deep understanding of recruiting, we'd love to hear from you. Preference will be given to candidates who can work in-person.

Pay Range: $30.65-$34.32/hour, based on qualifications and experience*

Hours/day: up to 8 hours/day

Work calendar days: up to 5 days/week

Duration of position: approximate start date during week of 3/24/2025 through 5/31/2025

Benefits include: PERA retirement

Pay range listed above is for employees newly hired to PSD (existing employees please refer to the pay range on the appropriate salary schedule). PSD engages in a salary placement process vs. a salary negotiation process.
