Sub System Technical Lead

In the Sub System Technical Lead role, the candidate will be responsible for leading those engineers assigned to his/her team to meet program deliverables. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: establishing and managing product development plans, managing the day to day activities of several engineers, establishing work plans, preparing responses to investigate bulletins, managing cost/weight/performance to meet targets. Product scope includes Brakes, Active Chassis and Steering.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• 8 years of professional engineering experience
• Proficient in DFMEA, DVP&R, PDP, change process (ODM/CN/CCD) tools and processes
• Proficient in technical aspects of brake and/or wheel and tire engineering
• Demonstrated excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to travel to supplier locations and FCA plants to support project

Preferred Requirements:

• Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green Belt/Black Belt certification
• Strong GD&T skill set
• Formal training/experience in problem solving, quality and reliability
• Experience in manufacturing of brake components and vehicle assembly
