THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Floor Manager at The Cosmopolitan to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of assigned housekeeping areas. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, and procedures.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee and manage the efficient daily operations of the assigned area to ensure seamless service.
• Supervise, mentor, and assist team members while providing hands-on training and direction.
• Assign tasks fairly and efficiently to optimize workflow and maintain productivity.
• Lead daily briefings and schedule meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons to align on goals and expectations.
• Ensure all guest rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies are cleaned and maintained to company standards.
• Conduct detailed daily room inspections, documenting compliance with department guidelines.
• Perform frequent walkthroughs of guest rooms and public areas to uphold cleanliness and service quality.
• Monitor team productivity and report any performance concerns to the Executive Assistant Housekeeper.
• Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action as needed to maintain high service standards and policy compliance.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Housekeeping or similar environment.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Hotel Management.
• Bilingual, English as the Primary or Secondary language.
• Organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, within established deadlines and attention to detail.
