THE JOB:

Asa Host for Orla at Mandalay Bay, you will be essential to the guest's experience. You will deliver prompt friendly service, manage guest reservations, assign tables to servers, and ensure the cleanliness of the menus. By delivering top-notch guest experiences alongside maintaining a pristine environment, you will play a crucial role in elevating the guest's experience.

THE STARTING RATE:$21.9261

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Provide a warm welcome to guests upon their arrival.

• Review reservations and confirm details for larger parties.

• Frequently check in with guests waiting to be seated, ensure they are aware their presence is acknowledged and that their tables are being prepared.

• Answer phones, maintain an accurate record of reservations, and oversee reservation book.

• Ensure menus have proper inserts and are current according to the most recent change, and replace all menus in poor condition.

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas; shutting down the podium and forwarding the phones at the end of the shift.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• 6 months of prior experience in an upscale, fine dining, or luxury hospitality environment.

• Prior experience in food and beverage operations.

• Prior experience with OpenTable and SevenRooms reservation management systems.
